Los bancos nacionales le han cerrado las cuentas financieras al funcionario sancionado Roberto López del Instituto Nicaragüense de Seguridad Social, luego de que el Departamento del Tesoro del gobierno de Estados Unidos anunciará sanciones directas a tres funcionarios sandinistas.
Según las investigaciones del gobierno de Estados Unidos, el funcionario sandinista Roberto López desde que esta a cargo del INSS ha realizado diversos actos de corrupción.
El efecto de las sanciones interpuestas por el gobierno de Trump son inmediatas, por ello se conoció sobre el cierre de todas las cuentas bancarias de Roberto López, el director del INSS, y principal responsable de las reformas a la seguridad social de abril de 2018.
Estados Unidos acusa a Roberto López de facilitar la creación de varias empresas fantasmas para pagar dinero en efectivo a otros funcionarios del régimen sandinista.
Ya son 14 funcionarios del gobierno sandinista sancionados por el gobierno de los Estados Unidos, debido a diversos actos de corrupción y constantes violaciones a los derechos humanos.
