La dictadura de Daniel Ortega acaba de aprobar un proyecto de ley en la Asamblea Nacional, con el cual se le quita la nacionalidad nicaragüense a todos los ciudadanos que residen en Estados Unidos bajo el estatus de ciudadano americano y se les prohibe de forma total el ingreso a Nicaragua, en caso contrario serán detenidos y encarcelados en El Chipote.

La modificación a los artículos 23 y 25 de la Constitución se dió por unanimidad por parte de los diputados de la dictadura sandinista de Daniel Ortega. Pero también abarca a todos los ciudadanos nicaragüenses que hayan adquirido otra nacionalidad.
«La nacionalidad no es un trámite administrativo, es un pacto sagrado de lealtad, quien adquiere otra nacionalidad y le ha jurado lealtad a un estado extranjero, rompe todo vínculo jurídico y moral con Nicaragua, la patria exige compromiso exclusivo», dice textualmente un documento firmado este viernes 16 de mayo por el dictador Daniel Ortega.
El artículo 23, en su versión reformada, indica que “los extranjeros pueden obtener la nacionalidad nicaragüense si renuncian previamente a su nacionalidad de origen”, mientras que “los centroamericanos de nacimiento que residan en Nicaragua pueden optar por la nacionalidad nicaragüense sin necesidad de renunciar a la suya”.
Por su parte, el artículo 25, tras su modificación, establece que “la nacionalidad nicaragüense se pierde automáticamente al adquirir otra nacionalidad”.
Estas reformas a la Constitución fueron remitidas la mañana de este viernes 16 de mayo por los co-dictadores Daniel Ortega y Rosario Murillo, en otra clara violación de los derechos de los nicaragüenses que por motivos de la crisis socio política han tenido que emigrar y optar a protección de otros estados adquieriendo otra nacionalidad.
