La ciudad de Chinandega en el occidente de Nicaragua es la ciudad más afectada por el coronavirus en el país ya que se reportan muchos casos positivos de la pandemia.
Los diversos reportes que llegan desde el hospital España en esta ciudad indican que este centro hospitalario estaría prácticamente colapsado con pacientes enfermos por coronavirus.
Los médicos de este lugar indican que está prohibido hablar sobre la cantidad exacta de pacientes infectados con el coronavirus originado en la ciudad de Wuhan en China.
En las calles de esta ciudad se lográ apreciar la preocupación de la población, casi el 90% utiliza mascarillas, pero la mayor parte prefiere pasar confinada en sus hogares.
Mientras que el régimen sandinista de Daniel Ortega asegura que solo hay 25 casos positivos de coronavirus en el país y sigue sin tomar medidas para evitar la propagación de la pandemia.
Sin embargo en las redes continúan circulando videos en donde se muestra al personal del Minsa realizando entierros clandestinos a altas horas de la noche.
