En un giro inesperado dentro del oficialismo, el diputado sandinista Wilfredo Navarro, uno de los parlamentarios más leales al Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional (FSLN), fue arrestado este jueves tras ser captado haciendo comentarios críticos hacia el presidente Daniel Ortega, luego de no desactivar su micrófono durante una sesión en la Asamblea Nacional.
Según fuentes legislativas que pidieron anonimato por temor a represalias, Navarro se expresó en términos poco favorables hacia Ortega en una conversación privada que accidentalmente se transmitió por el sistema de audio interno de la Asamblea. El diputado habría manifestado su inconformidad con algunas decisiones recientes del mandatario, tildándolas de «injustas» y «autoritarias».
La grabación no tardó en circular en redes sociales, generando reacciones mixtas entre los seguidores del oficialismo y la oposición. En cuestión de horas, elementos de la policía llegaron a la residencia del legislador y lo trasladaron a un lugar aún no confirmado oficialmente. Hasta el momento, no se han presentado cargos formales en su contra.
La Asamblea Nacional, controlada en su mayoría por el FSLN, no ha emitido un comunicado oficial, pero varios diputados afines al gobierno han evitado hacer comentarios al respecto. Por su parte, organismos de derechos humanos han denunciado el hecho como una nueva señal del creciente autoritarismo en el país.
Wilfredo Navarro, quien fue férreo defensor del gobierno durante más de una década, se une ahora a la lista de figuras cercanas al régimen que enfrentan represalias por mostrar cualquier indicio de disenso.
Este episodio resalta la creciente tensión dentro del círculo de poder sandinista y levanta nuevas alarmas sobre la falta de libertad de expresión incluso entre quienes forman parte del aparato gubernamental.
Mientras la represión de la dictadura de Ortega y Murillo se centra ahora en antiguos aliados, como Lenín Cerna y Bayardo Arce, este último detenido en La Modelo.
